Personnel news, from The Jerusalem Post:  Saudi Arabian Interior Minister Prince Nayef Bin Abd Al-Aziz, who last week made headlines for saying that there was no need for female members of parliament in Saudi Arabia, has been promoted to second deputy prime minister, the Saudi newspaper ArabNews reported. This puts Nayef, around 75, second in line to the throne of King Abdallah Bin Abd Al-Aziz, after the ailing Deputy Premier Prince Sultan, who has been out of the country for medical treatment.

What a country.  Absolutely no age discrimination!

BEIJING (Reuters) - Google Inc on Monday launched free downloads of licensed songs in China, while sharing advertising revenue with major music labels in a market rife with online piracy.  Lee Kai-Fu, president of Google in greater China, said one reason Google lagged in the mainland search market was because it did not offer music downloads, the missing piece to its strategy in a market where it trails leader Baidu.com Inc.
